Shading Variables

Unread postby justin » Tue Feb 14, 2017 9:35 pm

Hello! I am writing a plug-in for Clarisse and I need to detect all of the shading variables in a scene. I could probably figure this out through trial and error, but I am stuck at the point of binding a shading variable to an attribute. According to the documentation, there should be a little (x) button next to attributes which are bind-able. I haven't been able to find one yet! Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

Thank you!

Hi Justin,

As mentioned in the documentation Shading Variables require a special type of license not publicly available yet. (Which explains why you can't see them in the UI)
http://www.clarissewiki.com/3.0/working ... ables.html

If you really want to support them, we can provide you with a project file using them that Clarisse iFX can load but not edit/manipulate.

Shading Variables are not available in Clarisse iFX.
