Hi,

Currently there is orthographic cameras, but no built-in orthographic views in the 3d view.. It is planned in future versions..
In the meantime, the best is to built a 3 cameras setup using a orthographic cameras (named top, front, side.. ) and import this in your projects.

This does not work at least in 3.5 RC2, the Orthographic Camera still gives perspective (and pretty crazy one) so if those can be used to make orthographic views, please explain how. The manual is useless for this.

What I need is similar to any other 3D software where you can select top/left/right etc. view and see all objects without perspective.
I created Orthographic camera, set 3D View to look through it and rotated it to point down. Then I moved it far enough (REALLY far) to see my whole 50x50 m scene.
But any object I have there show the perspective which is not my understanding of orthographic so please explain how to use it correctly :)
Increasing the projection Size makes the perspective even worse so that is not the solution either.

Help please :)

Hi Anti,

I made some test and you can try to change the camera type for an advanced perspective camera and set the focal length to 300 m to avoid perspective effects .it's the best we have in terms of orthographic view, indeed is not a real one. This feature is on our roadmap as ID#319 and ID #2032.

Bests regards.
