Scatter Collision (3.5) : bbox rescale option ?

Unread postby paq » Thu Jun 01, 2017 12:07 am

Hello,

Would it be possible to have a global rescale % option for the bounding box collision mode in the scatterer ?
The idea is to have a little bit of control about the percentage of penetration.

Something like :
100% (default value) will use the true bbox size of the source geometry (actual behavior)
50% will scale down the bbox collision by 50% (allowing much more interpenetration between elements).
0% will act like there is no bbox collision.

(Just an suggestion).

I know it's possible to create custom collision shape (pretty cool !), but this option will make the global bounding box collision mode very versatile.

Hi Paq,

It's already on our roadmap under ID#6963.

Cheers.

Actually this was originally there but removed by mistake. It should appear in the next RC
