What's new since Clarisse iFX 3.0 SP2 :

General
  • Fixed a crash when setting the AOV configuration file from the startup script. (#5566)
  • Fixed random crash in Attribute Editor when doing File>New Scene. (#5621)
Rendering
  • The maximum range of sampling multipliers in the path tracer and physical materials has been increased. (#5606)
  • Fixed an artifact that was appearing on edges of meshes when shading them with a physical diffuse material. (#5616)
  • Fixed shadow artifacts that could sometimes appear on poly meshes. (#5624)
  • Fixed an issue in the evaluation of normal maps that was depending on the orientation of the UV map. (#5636)
  • It is now possible to control for polygonal geometries how much the theoretical smoothed surface must be considered during the shading (with the "Smoothing Approximation" attribute). (#5605)
  • Fixed an issue in the physical hair shader that was causing invalid values. (#5578)
SDK
  • Re-exposed some GUI classes in Python that were removed by error. (GuiMenu, GuiMenuItem, GuiInputDialog, GuiColorDialog, GuiImageHistory) (#5600)
Shading Layer
  • The shading layer rule extraction to a new shading layer is now correctly extracting all rule components. (#2353, #3970)
Geometry
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when evaluating properties of an alembic bundle. (#5619)
  • Fixed a crash that occurred with empty OpenVDB files (#5634)
