Clarisse Groups search

Unread postby machieb » Fri Jan 24, 2020 5:33 pm

Hello,
how can I find a specific object in a group inclusion rule items list to delete it from the group or switch off the visibility?
This applies also for combiner object lists!
If I have lots of objects in that lists (>5000), it is impossible to find the correct object to delete or hide. Is there a way to search in those lists?
Can objects that are selected in the viewport highlighted in that lists?
See the attachment.

Thanks

Hi there,

Find them using the search widget of the application and add them to the exclusion list. (You can drag and drop them directly to the list).
Alternatively you can use rules: https://www.isotropix.com/learn/tutoria ... nts-in-3.5

Thanks for your reply!

This is a good advice for groups! But what about combiners?
How can I find an object in a combiner to remove or hide it?There is no search feature.

Use a group and add it to your combiner. Clarisse is procedural. When you edit a group it will update everything that uses the group so it will update the combiner content.

You're welcome. But just FYI, this is not a trick. This is actually the core workflow of Clarisse.
