SSS PBR shader

Hi All!

I'm pretty new to 3D lighting and shading, so this may sounds a bit dumb :P

I'm trying to get translucency in a shader. I've watched the SSS tutorial on the site where he drags and drops the SSS material on the plane and achieves the translucency, but for some reason I can't seem to replicate it. I've attached a screenshot of what I wanted to achieve and what I'm getting.

I'm using an IBL with a hdr that came with the PLE I downloaded (dry field)

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it!

Hi TinyRaven,

you're doing things right, just turns out you found an old video that doesn't reflect the latest developments. I apologize for your trouble but just switch to the Physical Standard Shader and use Diffuse Backlight for a simple surface with no thickness. It's way more efficient....and it works! :D
