What's new since Clarisse iFX 3.6 SP5:
New Features and Enhancements
Rendering
- Raytrace Tessellation Level can now be driven by either the crease level or a scalar property value defined in Alembic files for example.
Note: crease level and property values are evaluated per sub-mesh on Alembic bundles, allowing per item tessellation levels controls. For more information please refer to the user documentation. (#8657) - A new Sidedness attribute has been added to physical materials. It allows to finely tune the behavior of the shading, accordingly to the side of the geometry (Single/Double/Invert).
Note: an Automatic Sidedness attribute is enabled when dealing with materials coming from old projects. This attribute is only there to ensure conservative renders across versions. (#8148)
- You can now display help on all ix.cmds commands. In the Script Editor, type help(ix.cmds) to display the list of all available commands, or help(CommandName) to display help on a specific command. (#8667)
Bug Fixes

- Image metadata are now respecting original input case and are no longer automatically converted to lowercase when saved. (#8790)
- Fixed a selection issue that happened when a user added a node to current selection (using ctrl or shift-click) and dragged it accidentally before releasing the button when using a tablet. (#8789)
