Silder sensitivity and/or scrollwheel control

A a slider speedup and slowdown within the Attribute editor. Similar to Maya's Shift and/or ctrl feature.
-If you drag a slider with the mouse and hold down Shift the slider would reduce its speed by a factor of 10 or even react exponentially to the users slider movement. Slower movement = even slower floating value change
-Nuke scroll wheel style digit adjustment (check video)

What do you think about this?

Fabric Engine Canvas Slider

I think the best way to alter a value with mouse is in Fabric Canvas, it is simple and intuitive and maybe the most interactive and elegant. The vertical movement of the cursor is the value change and the horizontal is the magnitude. Similar to value ladder in Houdini but without steps -> sometimes annoying jump into wrong magnitude.

So I think many Clarisse artists would appreciate this or similar. For tablet users, using pressure sensitivity for magnitude and circle movement to adjust the value would be the perfect I think.

They discontinued Frabric Engine :( ... but this feature would be a very handy reincatnation in Clarisse. Especially a tablet mode with pressure support (which is now part of the paint module, maybe it is not too complicated to use the same library), and the circular adjustment to have a bit more room. I remember, in 5D Cyborg, values/sliders were manipulated by circular movement. This can be good for mouse users too (as an option), because the sensitivity can depend on the radius.

Guys, the slider scale can be easily controlled by putting the cursor on the digit you want. For example if you have 1500 km and click to set the cursor on 5, it will scale the slider increment accordingly.

Cheers,

Hi, yes I know, just I think some of the VFX artists need a bit more "artistic" interaction. These I suggested above may fit the philosophy of Clarisse, which is being different, for artists - by artists, etc. Ok maybe I'm a bit UI fetishist (a bit?), actually my first post in the Iso forum was this
