Change colors of error messages in log

Right now the error messages are a dull red on a dark grey background. Trying to read a lot of them makes my ancient eyes really really hurt.

Is there any way you could improve the contrast of these messages? Warning messages (yellow on the same dark grey) are much easier to read. But error messages are bad enough that I just copy them into a separate text editor just so that I can read them.

Hi,

No there is no way to change colors in the UI. Sorry for your eyes.

Cheers ;)

I would request that you change the color of the error messages for the next release then. It isn't just me. Everyone who looks at these error messages struggles to read them. All you would need to do is brighten the text color, and just for the error messages.

Pretty please? :)

Hi,

I think we just need to bring back this feature:

https://clarissewiki.com/3.0/changing_u ... olor_.html

I tried to start Clarisse with the "-scheme", but it doesn't seem to be working.
I guess switching to some of these schemes temporally during the debugging can solve the problem.

Is there any way to modify the UI files of Clarisse? I really want ;)
Houdini has a lot of opportunities to do this, here is a recent forum I started:
https://www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/54423/

I remember when first tried Clarisse few years back and read the vampire description for the darker scheme, laughed and thought that this should be a good software because creators have a sense of humour (as Shake docs).

Hi,

Schemes were disabled. Most people used the dark scheme and the new icons (3.5) didn't match with lighter schemes.
Vampire scheme for everyone

And no, it is not possible to change UI colors, sorry.

Cheers !

Hard times...
No UI customization...
Canned blood for warning messages...
Cheers!

... I mean for error messages.

Btw bvz2000 you can use force methods:
In the graphics card control panel you should find few color correction sliders like brightness/contrast/gamma.
You can tweak them temporally for better reading.
I do this sometimes, there are lot of eye-hurting apps and websites.

This improvement has been implemented (finally :D) and will be available in the next release of Clarisse 5.
Error logs will have a brighter color that is easier to read.

Cheers!
