It would be great if the user use a custom polygon shape as a scope object.

Hi,

I guess it would increase the overall computation time if you use complex shapes so I don't know if it is reliable for the global feedback Clarisse gives.
You can use the Occlusion node to define black and white areas with complex shapes.

Anyway, I added an entry in our database.

Finding if a point is enclosed inside an arbitrary polygonal shape is an extremely expensive operation so it's ***very*** unlikely to ever appear in Clarisse.
