What's new in Clarisse iFX 4.0 SP10:
New Features and Enhancements
Tools
  • Rotate and Transform tools now provide a "look at" functionality. Hold down the K key and click/drag on any geometry to make the selected items look at the picked location. On mouse release, the selected items will have their -z axis aiming to the picked location and their y axis restored to point up (considering their rotation offset). (#10695)

Bug Fixes
General UI
  • Fix a viewport splitting that could crash Clarisse when customizing its UI layout (splitting a viewport several times, closing some sub-views, resizing others...). (#9803)
IO
  • Fixed a bug in USD referenced objects, that caused overrides on Shading Group attributes (visibility, material, clip map, displacement, shading variable) to be reset after copy/pasting the object outside its Reference context. (#10861)
Rendering
  • Fixed a regression on Matte Objects introduced in Clarisse 4.0 SP9. (#10875)
  • Fixed instabilities that could occur when a Group is connected in the Lights attribute of a 3D Layer. (#10885)
  • Fixed an issue that was causing an alpha hole in some cases when a light had a black color. (#10871)
Scripting
  • Fixed Python auto downcasting of GeometryProperty when accessed through Module* methods.
    Fixed Python auto downcasting to properly cast null C++ types to Python's None value. (#10858)
