What's new in Clarisse iFX 4.0 SP14:

New Features and Enhancements
General UI
  • Menu filtering now supports acronyms: for example, typing "lpe" will identify Light Path Expression, "pc" will identify Point Cloud. (#11043)

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug when moving an object which had a disabled expression into another context: the expression was incorrectly re-enabled. (#11065)

General UI
  • Path description in a File Browser widget doesn't stay in edition mode anymore when choosing another directory or when the widget is closed. (#11057)
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when using up/down navigation hotkeys whereas an empty spreadsheet (Material Linker, Search, Property Editor...) had the focus. (#11064)

  • Fixed a crash when loading an USD stage as a bundle where a point instancer had one or more unused prototypes. (#11076)
  • Fixed a stability issue when using a `GeometryPointUvSampler` on an animated geometry. The position of points might differ from previous versions but will now be stable over frames. (#10925)

  • Infinite lights are not visible anymore when hitting the background while baking UVs. (#11107)
  • Fixed frame range of layers that was ignored by the evaluation when rendering an image with the Render Manager. (#11082)
  • Fixed dPdt output in camera space for utility texture node that was giving wrong values. (#11025)

  • The Display Pickable attribute found on Scene Objects is now taken into account by the Image View only for Select tool, it allows now these objects to be color/material-picked with the Picker tool or surface-snapped by Transform tools. (#11048)

SDK Changes

  • Fixed an exception when iterating on GMathVec* classes from a Python script. (#11108)
