This forum is exclusively reserved for artists submitting to the "get procedurally creative" challenge. It should be used to share your work in progress and get feedback from the community. Please make a single thread per submission.

More information about the challenge can be found here: URL

Rules
For this challenge, you are not allowed to rely on any external dependencies nor use an external tool to touch up the render submission. Everything must be self contained in the Clarisse project file used to render the final submitted image. The final image must be a raw render coming directly out of Clarisse. For more information please refer to Final Submission section.

Deadline
The deadline for submissions is December 31st, 2019. You will be able to make your final submission from December 24st, 2019 directly from this page.

The final image file should be submitted in PNG file format with a horizontal 16:9 ratio. The minimum resolution of the image file should be 1,920px per 1,080px. For the avoidance of doubt here is a recap of the rules:
  • The challenge is exclusively limited to individual artists.
  • There can be only 1 (one) submission per individual artist.
  • It is not allowed to use any paint package or compositing software to grade/paint over your submission. The rendered image must come directly from Clarisse.
  • It is not allowed to use any external assets (file references, image maps, external geometries, external volumes, OCIO configuration)
  • OSL file texture nodes are forbidden but OSL Script texture nodes are allowed. However it is forbidden to use any function needing external files such as texture, texture3d, pointcloud_get… or use any OSL include files that aren't distributed with the standard installation of Clarisse.

Any submitted rendered image file that doesn't match the render generated (with the exception of the number of samples) from the submitted Clarisse project file will be automatically disqualified.

For Clarisse iFX PLE users, we invite you to benefit from our watermark-free policy which gives you up to 3 watermark-free renders (2560x1440 max) per 24 hours.

Winners Announcement
The winners will be selected by simple majority by the members of the jury with the exception of the winner of the Best Technical Achievement category which will be selected exclusively by Isotropix. The judgement of the jury will be final and the winners will be officially announced within 30 (thirty) days following the challenge submission deadline.
