I don't see Environment Lights listed in the limitations post, but I can't seem to get any light out of them in Angie.
In version 5 you add the light and it works. Same steps in 5.5 get no light whatsoever.

Is it a current limitation?

You probably missed it but there's a ANGIE self tab to create angie lights including environment lights.

I was following the FAQ suggestions and going nowhere.

I suggest you to watch the getting started video, it is mentioned there if I'm not mistaken. Even my presentation mentions it on the light section.
