Rendering and texture mapping problems

Unread postby A1chitektor » Mon May 02, 2022 6:44 am

Hi! After trying out the new version of Clarisse and Angie, I can say that a wonderful and titanic job has been done and the features are now even more impressive. However, in Clarisse 5.5 there is a problem: when using UDIM, only a few tiles per meshe are loaded, in Clarisse 5.0 with exactly the same settings, all the tiles are loaded. This problem is observed in both Viewport and Image View. I tried using png and tx formats.
Also, when switching Angie device to GPU, all textures become black. I have read that GPU rendering doesn't work on cards not supporting OPTIX 7, my graphics card (GTX 1060 6gb) supports it and the video memory is also enough to render the model itself (tested on different model variations with different texture sizes). I also have the latest version of the drivers. Perhaps the team is aware of these issues and will fix them by release, perhaps the problems are still on my end, but I felt it necessary to report them just in case.
