Backlighting in Angie

Unread postby michalsoja » Wed May 25, 2022 5:09 pm

Hi,
I started lookdeving with Angie this week and I've been trying to convert quite a large outdoor environment scene from Clarisse to Angie. However, when I got to tree leaves it turned out OSL material doesn't have diffuse backlighting. Is it named otherwise or do you have some other ways of making leaf material in Angie?

Thanks,
Michal

Hi Michal,

In Angie you use the Autodesk Standard Surface. Backlighting is enabled by activating BOTH Thin Walled and Subsurface. More info: https://clarissewiki.com/5.5_early_acce ... subsurface

Hi Sam,
Thanks a lot. I should have guessed that.
