Render Resolution limitation?

Unread postby andras » Tue Jun 07, 2022 6:11 am

Hi guys ...
I' ve found one machine with a 1080 and I was able to get Angie working. However I wanted to render an image in 4096 * 2160 but the render got stuck at 51 % ( I waited like 15 min) lowering the resolution to 3000 * 2000 and it worked...So I was slowly increasing the resolution toward 4096 but I only could get Angie to render up to 3600*2000 resolution. Is this is some sort of limitation of the EA2 Ple?

Thank you
Andras

No it's not a limitation. It would complain with an error message. Was the dot next to the progress bar red or green? If it was red, then it was rendering.

FYI 1080 are pretty slow to render compared to a decent CPU. I'm not even mentioning the lack of memory.
