Layername variable

Unread postby ruudNL » Tue Jan 23, 2018 4:28 pm

I know how to use custom and build-in variables to define the render output. My question is, as '$PNAME' stands for the project-filename, is there a variable that stands for the current layer rendering?

So a renderlayer named 'renderlayer01' would have the output: (server)/renderlayer01/(outputfile)

Can't find it within Clarisse.

Hi,

Unfortunately, this variable doesn't exist for now. However, this is already our roadmap (#7781).
We haven't any ETA for this feature but keep an eye on the release note of the next release ;)
