get objects in combiner

Unread postby alexhessler » Tue Mar 24, 2015 2:39 am

I'm trying to get a list of the objects in a combiner with something like the following:

Code: Select all
objectList = ix.get_value(combiner.get_full_name()+".objects")

But this errors with
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'get_value'

Can someone help me with a code snippet for getting the list of objects in a combiner? The overall goal is to recursively search through combiners and groups to get a list of geometry objects.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Hope this helps:
Code: Select all
objectList = ix.get_item(combiner.get_full_name()+".objects")
for i in range(objectList.get_value_count()):
    print objectList.get_object(i).get_full_name()

Cheers,
Guillaume
