modifing render archive

Unread postby anabil » Fri Apr 14, 2017 10:28 am

hi,

i dunno if i should ask this question here or somewhere else in the forums but i will ask it here considering it is a little bit techinial.

so, i have access to a render archive file i have exported before and i want to override the sampling quality without opening the scene and exporting again.
i only know that i can do that with CNode under the command line but that will allow me to only render locally and i want to modify the render archive and then submit the render through deadline.
is it possible to do it and then export with the new modified sampling as an archive agian?

Thanks,
ahmed

Hi,

If you want to do this, you need Cnode. This is exactly the difference between the 2 flavors of CLarisse rendernodes (Cnode and Crender). This is also why Crender is almost twice cheaper than Cnode.

Thanks
