Light Manager

Unread postby ayanik » Mon Jul 27, 2020 2:58 pm

I made this script for the server admin on Discord to manage lights, light groups and more inside Clarisse within a small window.

Video on how to use it:

If you feel like it helps you I really appreciate any donation. You can donate via the following link:

1. Download and extract the zip from my site:
2. Add a new item to your shelf and locate the python script and the icon.

Known Issues / Limitations
- Since you can't destroy widgets properly using Python I found a workaround by using the del operator in Python. Sometimes the window doesn't redraw properly causing the window to become blank. Just close the window and reopen it.
- I tried making the form listen to scene events such as when a light is deleted via the object browser or when a value is changed in the attribute editor. This caused lots of redraw issues so I had to remove this.
- The Color picker only works in SP8

Turning a feature request ( into a free (must have) tool... Many thanks on behalf of all Clarisse users, Yanik. I wish I could pay for it on Gumroad or equivalent (I do not have Paypal, I'll see if I can find a way to donate without an account).
