Is there a way to add a custom button into a ProjectItem that executes some python script which gets stored with the project (just like other custom attributes)? Any recommendations for how to accomplish this?

You should look into scripted classes, that way you can create your own project item.

Thanks. Will a scripted class get saved with a project? Or does it need to be recreated on each Clarisse start somehow?
