Need some LPE help

Unread postby bjoern » Mon Apr 16, 2018 1:44 pm

When I use the LPE for reflection from here: https://www.clarissewiki.com/3.6/useful_light_path_expression_e.html,
Code: Select all
C[ST].*L|O

then this also adds into the AOV the diffuse transmission. This is not correct is it?
I'm also trying to figure out how to get the diffuse_albedo, specular albedo & SSS for everything in the scene (by not using the PBR defaults).
I know there are the sony doc but a list like this: https://support.solidangle.com/display/A5ARP/Light+Path+Expression+AOVs for clarisse would be super helpfull :-) Even for starting out to understand it better.

Above the first vid there is a link for a Siggraph paper. This is for RenderMan, but might help to understand better the basics.

Hello, I've attached a project with some LPEs already made that might help you out a bit to get you started, also with some light specific AOVs.

Awesome! Thanks man, Appreciate the links :-) But in all honesty, and its not like I don't want not to learn LPE, I definitely do. But something like this "https://youtu.be/K0kBDXAFiiY?t=182" should be there.
