Hello,
I want to start working with Clarisse again, so I downloaded the 5 PLE version. But when I start it, there is only the builder version.
How can this be done? How can I change "builder 5 to IFX 5?

Hello, after installing, you should have on your desktop a shortcut ending with "PLE"

Else, assuming you're on Windows, you can create a new shortcut or modify one existing (Right click > properties) and add the tags `-flavor ifx` and/or `-ple` at the end of the target field.

It works, but it's a bit of a strange way of doing things. You would have expected to have a choice at the time of installation.

It's the same download and installer for all modes. This way, when you buy a license, you don't need to re-download or re-install anything.
On Windows, which I believe you are using, the installer creates various Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts for all modes.

I would much prefer just a single shortcut/exe and for the correct version of Clarisse to load after the license check.
Crowding the desktop/start menu with numerous shortcuts is sloppy and untidy. Choice of python version should be set in preferences not yet more shortcuts. I don't see any advantage to the way this is currently.

We do have customers that both have Clarisse iFX and Clarisse BUiLDER that is why...
