Alembic - different transfroms compared to Maya

Unread postby machieb » Thu Sep 22, 2022 11:26 am

Hello,

we have a problem when we have an alembic with instances.
In Maya you can see the transformations, in Clarisse no transforms are shown in the attribute editor (see screenshots).
We need the transforms also in Clarisse, is there a way to see them?

In Maya the pivot point of the group is in the object.
In Clarisse the pivot point of the group is in the center of the world.

Cheers Marcus

A college told me, that if I set the pivot mode of the alembic to use attribute I can see the translations.

Yes, that's correct. When set to "Use Attributes" it shows the transform values, but as read-only values.
