You have just to press submit, then it will send all automaticlly to conductor.
You don‘t have to collect it first by the archive function.

It‘s really cool integration, support is also great.

Hi Kramon,

Conductor's Clarisse submitter had a major upgrade recently. I'm one of the developers.

The dependency-scan does indeed find files anywhere on your hard disk, or other connected filesystems. They don't have to be in your content folder. Sometimes you may need to include files that are not found in the scan either, for example, you may want to run a pre-render script on our render nodes. In this case, you can browse for the script manually from within the UI and it will be added to the upload list.

When you submit a job, we upload all those files to our servers, unless they are already there. To check whether they are there we compare md5 hashes, so if you have a job with Gigabytes of textures and you submit it twice, the second time will be super fast because no files will actually be uploaded unless they changed.

Even though we render on Linux instances, you can submit from Windows because we resolve drive letters before the render starts. This process happens recursively through any depth of nested references.

We are aiming for a process where you don't have to make any special adjustments to your scene on any platform in order to submit. One way we achieve this is to recreate your whole filesystem hierarchy. Then even absolute reference paths on other filesystems will always be valid.

We can't anticipate every use case, and rendering remotely is pretty complicated. If you try our submitter, you might find rough edges or need features we didn't think of. So I'll keep an eye on this forum more regularly now, but also feel free to shoot a mail to our support because we want to make it seamless.

Thanks to Tom, above, who did an awesome job of beta testing for us.

It's a really smooth integration. Now with support of layer and tile rendering by just submitting out of Clarisse it's a really comfortable solution
and easy to use for artists. A few settings and submiting, done!

@Julian, thank you for the integration.
