Hi,

Perfect if the directory is here, you can edit the clarisse.env with you terminal by using the nano command like I said in the previous post.
After that launch Clarisse and everything should works!

Cheers,

Thanks for the quick info, but I get a blank field. So I can't really change the paths.

Hi,

You have to fill the file now. Because the previous post I think that you're on MacOs so you have to write in the file this:
Code: Select all
PYTHONHOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7
PYTHONPATH=/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib

Then save the file and start Clarisse.

Regards,

Hello,

Im getting the issue below when trying to run Clarisse

Couldn't initialize Python engine. Please check if:
00:09:04 - Python is properly installed.
00:09:04 - PYTHONHOME and PYTHONPATH environment variables are properly set in clarisse.env file.
00:09:04 For more information please refer to the user manual in Configuration and Environment section.
00:09:04

I can see the physical python folder here
/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/

and have changed the path in the .env file and get the same issue.
I also have home-brew python installed and have tired the below path but it sill comes up with the same message.

PYTHONHOME=/usr/local/Cellar/python/2.7.13/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/
PYTHONPATH=/usr/local/Cellar/python/2.7.13/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib

any suggestions?

Cheers

Andy

Hi,

Clarisse has to use Python in 64bit version. It could be the problem in your case.
There is a link to download python x64 for MacOS: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.13/python-2.7.13-macosx10.6.pkg

Tell us if this change anything. Cheers
