Linux ALT key

Unread postby dane » Thu Aug 30, 2018 3:50 pm

Hey guys,

We just installed clarisse on Linux Centos 7 and we are having an issue where clarisse doesnt seem to recognise the ALT key, meaning we cant navigate using ALT+Left/middle/right buttons on the mouse.

Any ideas what is causing this issue?

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,
this is a centos specific feature called Movement Key. By default it is bound to "Alt" and makes any use of that key in combination with any other application useless.

To change it:
System > Control Centre > Windows: Behaviour Tab
Look for the "Movement Key" setting and set it to the super/ Windows logo
superkey.PNG

After that, it should work as expected.
