Python 3.7 on MacOS

Unread postby mzofx » Fri Feb 08, 2019 8:02 pm

Hi,

I installed Python 3.7 on my Mac. However, Clarisse seems to only work if the python related variables in clarisse.env point to the 2.7 installation. If I point them to the 3.7 path, Clarisse won't start at all.

Any advice on how to make Clarisse work with the latest Python version on MacOS would be much appreciated.

Thanks

This is what
Code: Select all
import sys
print sys.path

return at the moment (with the variables pointing to the 2.7 paths).

Hi
Clarisse does not support any python 3.x at the moment, sorry but it has to be 2.7 on all platforms for now.

Also the release note give the info:
Clarisse 4.0 core has been updated to be compliant with VFX Reference Platform CY2018.

For python that is 2.7

Cheers
