blending shaders using light information

Hi guys,

what is equivalent of maya's surface luminance or 3ds max falloff texture set to shadow/light in clarisse?
I want to blend two different shaders based on light information.

There is no equivalent (was one for legacy rendering). Feel free to ask for a feature using the Feature Request Tracker.

Hey,
Thanks for the reply. I will definitely look into the Feature Request Tracker.
And for the time being, it'd be great if you could suggest me any alternate way or technique to achieve the desired effect.
basically I am trying to render Earth, and I want to blend the day and night shaders based on my light direction. i am using 1 distant light.

You can use an incidence texture node with a locator parented to the distant light to achieve what you want.
