Trouble with Progressive Rendering

Hi,

Just installed PLE version 4.0 SP4b_x64.

After importing a few objects and looking around my scene the rendering stops at a certain point when in progressive mode.

Here's a screen record. As you can see the render sampling stops after a few moments.

It's my understanding that it should continue to sample the image until clean? Am I missing something?

I've tried Preferences>Evaluation and tweaking the refresh rate with no success.

Please help!

Nick

Hello, this behavior is totally natural since you have 0 refinement counts set for your 3d View

I usually leave my 3d view in the 4 - 16 range while I'm just working about in the 3d View.

Great thanks for your reply that helped.

It seems however when I render final in image view it’s rather noisy. Can you share best practices for rendering?

Thanks again
Nick

And also make sure to look at other videos, there is a lot of information out there.

My render is not YOUR render, but for what I am rendering right now.
