IOR of principled shader?

Unread postby cuckon » Mon Dec 23, 2019 3:28 am

Hello,

Sorry if this was raised before.
Any chance I can set the IOR(Index of Reflection) of disney principled shader? I can find it in standard shader but strangely not principled shader.

Cheers,
John.

Hi John,

No. That's the whole idea of the Disney Principled. We followed the spec and in the original spec IOR is completely driven according to the value of the attributes. If you want to specify IOR you'll have to use the Standard.
