use reorder node to access depth channel

Can we access other channels in an exr (or image node)?

I want to render a depth from camera (using zdepth) and then access that information either directly (using texture map node) or from a saved image file. Is there a way to access this AOV from either the texture map node or the streamed image file node?

Indeed. You can directly choose the channel in the texture map/map file/stream map file/ nodes using Output Layer attribute.
