Scatter objects and center pivot

Hello, i'm new to clarisse and have two problems:

1) Each building contains of different objects. When i scatter them, they don't stay together and each part gets scattered (screenshot attached). What am i doing wrong?

Another question: The buildings comes with textures, do i have to texture them before scattering?

2)I then tried to export each building as an obj., but when i import the pivot is not centered and the scattering does not work properly either.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi,

Scatterers scatter single objects. So if your buildings are in several geometries it can't work. You have to combine them into a combiner first and then scatter the combiner.

As everything is procedural in Clarisse you can texture your buildings after the scatterer. It doesn't matter.

When you export an object from Clarisse it freezes the transform. The pivot will be every time at the center of the world so make sure to place your object at the center of the world. Select your object, go to Animate > Center pivot to the ground, and then set the transformation of the object to 0,0,0.

Another thing, when you scatter objects make sure that there are all at the center of the world to avoid offset.

Cheers
