Optix denoiser issue - "no 'albedo' defined in input image"?

Unread postby jeroendesmet » Mon Apr 26, 2021 5:16 pm

I've been having a look at the Optix denoiser command-line lately (cdenoise), but can't seem to get it to work with the albedo/world_normals aovs... I keep getting this warning:

warning: Optix Denoiser: No 'albedo' image layer(s) (AOVs) defined in the input image.
warning: Optix Denoiser: '-world_normal' is only applicable with a valid albedo input.
Denoising...denoiser_strength: 1.000000000000000
Done!
...Success!

So it is outputting a denoised image, but it's just not taking into account the albedo or world_normal.
I've tried rendering out an image out of Nuke, removing all other channels but the rgba, albedo and world_normal....but same result.

Has anyone played around with this as well, with better success?

thx for your help!
