Shading Groups problem [Houdini]

Unread postby jomaro » Thu Dec 01, 2022 7:57 pm

Hi,
I am with simple grid (with UV) and I have two groups to use different shading groups inside Clarisse.
The problem is the faces are not in right order. What can cause this issue?

Hello, you are making a "mistake" in houdini : you are actually merging 2 grids (1 with 1 group left and a second 1 with a group right) instead of creating 2 groups on 1 grid. If you dont split the node tree itr works fine.

Cheers!
