Would be a great addition to the actual color picker for light colors !

Blackbody tonal values are useful, but find colour shifts from these values quickly in the real world.

In addition it would be good to be able to sample colour from an image, like a digital painter may sample hues for his paint. To simplify implementation, for now even just an eyedropper that can sample anywhere on the monitor could be a good start.

Hello Antti,

This still on our roadmap (#2320).
However, we haven't implemented it yet.

Cheers,

Ok.

Related to this, is there some place I can see the roadmap and also see the bugfix/new features #xxxx mentioned in release notes?
I read in release notes that the Image History comment column will be written to saved image 'when applicable' but it is not saved in PNG or JPEG or even EXR metadata so what does that mean? :)
I was hoping it would be way to write comments to image metadata but either it does not work or then it was not meant for that.
But if I could read the #3394 I might get more info :)
