DEMs

Unread postby Germanobanano » Sat Oct 10, 2015 7:29 pm

Have been using Clarisse on and off for a few months. This is a quick test to try out some really hi-res DEMs from UTAH. Seem's like a good way to go for digital environment work.

I downloaded the DEMs from here:

http://raster.utah.gov/

Used MicroDEM to convert them to image files

Next step will be to download more tiles and add vegetation and other details. Have to figure out what the best displacement settings are and a way to automate the tile texture assignment.

Wow, this looks great! I'm also did some terrain generation in the last days!
Clarisse just rocks with all this heavy data.
