A troll in a forest

Hey, I thought I'd share my latest WIP.
My greatest revelation was to find that it seems to be faster to build everything in geometry and not use clipmaps at all. I suppose all the transparency in the clipmap becomes quite intense. The spruces turned out dark and noisy. Then I just scattered all the needles as geometry instead and it become a lot faster. I ended up with 15 trillion polys because of this, but that really doesen't matter.
