Thanks!

Ksenia, I'm still learning everyday myself. But I think I will work on some tutorials when I have more time. I'm getting into Houdini,QGIS and Openmaps lately and I'd love to do a Gumroad to show how they can be great to get assets into Clarisse.

Davefx, I have done very few rendered sequences so I can't really tell much about flickering. No matter how fast any renderer is, you're pretty much limited to stills unless you have farm access or rely heavily on projections.

I usually start by increasing my antialiasing to 12 and setting it to 'gaussian'. I'll make sure I add render times and rendersettings next time.

I was honored to be asked to contribute a tutorial for the latest 3d World Magazne. Magazine is out already so I figured it's ok to post some screenshots. Wish I had more time to spend on the FG vegetation but hey.

And here are some more images I did for the London Clarisse Workshop.

Using UK dems on all of them I believe.

Great work! Are you using HDR images for the sky?

Thanks guys!

Yes Luis, I think HDR most of the time. The one with the white shader was just a directional light.

HDRIs are the best, If you can use them as sa back plate, double win!

Hi,

yes, very inspiring! Where are these DEMs from? I`m also working on DEM based environments, maybe it is time to share them...
