I'm trying to update Clarisse with the Mac OS X 64-bit version to SP9, however, I'm having trouble opening it...
I've dragged it to the Applications folder and right clicked to "Open", however, I get these errors as shown in the screenshots.
I'm on OS X 10.12.5
I'm guessing this has to do with allowing apps to open from "identified developers." the way around that, traditionally, has been to right click on the file and choose "Open" to tell macOS to open the file anyway, however, that doesn't seem to be working anymore.
I've managed to get Clarrise to show up in the dock. It bounces for a couple minutes and then stops bouncing, but never actually opens.
It appears in the dock, but there is no dot next to it indicating that it's running.
It also appears in the Activity Monitor, but with zero CPU activity, as if it's frozen or stalled out.
Also, licman.app doesn't attempt to open, but just gives the error window as shown in the attached image.
Under System Preferences, in Security and Privacy, under General, there is a setting option to either allow app to open only from the Mac App Store or from "App Store and identified developers." In older versions of the OS, there was also the option to open apps from "Anywhere." That option no longer exists in the latest version of the OS.
Right clicking on the app and choosing "Open" should still allow the user to force it to open, however, there appears to be a bug preventing it from opening somehow.
Any advice?
Thanks.
