Point cloud from Houdini

Unread postby Aurelien29 » Wed Feb 13, 2019 1:52 pm

Hey,

I have a problem with scattering in clarisse on a point cloud from Houdini. When I import the point cloud from Houdini in clarisse and I use the scattering with different objects (4 rocks), I don't see the mesh in 3D view while the HUD shows 1,6 billions of primitiv count in the scene, even in the image view.

Can you help me?

Thanks

Hi,

Perhaps the scale values are super small? What happens if you disconnect all extract property from the scatterer? It's hard to say without your files.

To make sure the HUD count the poly's of your scatterer only turn the 3D view display selection mode to object and select the scatterer.

Cheers ;)

On a side note, you should ask your IT to update Clarisse to at least SP8b.

Seriously? :)
Go to your account menu (Click on the little guy next to TRY OR BUY) Then Select My Download Area on the left menu... and choose the version of Clarisse you want to download.
