Hi,
no because a regular depthpass can not provide information from something volume based, these two can not work in conjunction in the same calculation.
The simple solution is to place any volumetric part on a seperate layer with geo as holdout, and render the regular geometry in its own 3d layer with a depth pass and other AOVs.
Alternatively you can use DeepExr as output format.
You could also save a depth pass alone without a beauty by changing the 3d layer output from all to the one you wish to have
