some recent work by architects in arch vis

Unread postby nikolaysalutski » Thu Dec 12, 2019 12:30 am

just thought we should say "hi" ..... we are a small arch vis studio and recently have employed Clarisse into out pipeline and would like to share some of our humble efforts with the Clarisse community.

Generally we are blown away by the capabilities of the software regardless of the inevitable challenges associated with going against the currents in our industry :)

we collaborate with big architectural practices and in some cases developers and like working on masterplan projects requiring the recreation of real locations throughout the globe.

there is a certain level of post-production over these shot but we can dig out the actual renders if any interest.

thx

That's really cool to see clarisse being used in architecture! Vegetation and dense populated areas are awesome, i miss a bit more definition on materials and plain surfaces - but that's a nature of this kind of shots i suppose. Great work ! I would love to see "raw" images as well.
Btw. What was the most challenging part of the first images you did with clarisse?

and some more raws!

Regarding challenges when started.... the logic/brilliance of Clarisse was pretty clear and we did buy straight into it ...we saw it as a render manager kind software where we bring all all assets and build scenes very easily and on the go...small files to deal with and transfer to various locations if need to.

We did enjoy a lot the fact that, size and numbers did not matter any more!

Biggest issue is preparing assets for Clarisse .... we wee to invest a lot of effort into building and readopting various assets (trees, cars, vegetation, people) where our competitors have an enormous amount of libraries prepared for the established 3D packages ans respective render engines.

It would have been great if there was a solution that can do that automatically.
