Adding bump to normal, as is, tends to give unusable results, you may want to tone down the bump by using a multiply with 0.1 to 0,25 max.
The normal and the bump have different roles, normal takes care of the bigger shapes, the bump deals with smaller shapes. Giving them equal weight gives ugly results. That was my experience.
