Hey Guys

2.0 looks great! I am going to evaluate it using the PLE for now but I had a question about the SDK. Is there support swapping in another renderer? The standard renderer looks great but with our current licenses of another renderer it would be ideal if we could use it too from Clarisse. I would understand if certain features that the built in renderer does special might not be supported but as long as we can use C++ to register a third-party renderer with Clarisse, be able to extract scene data, and display render feedback inside the application.

Thanks! One thing, currently the SDK isn't distributed publicly.

You are not the first one to ask to integrate a third-party renderer in Clarisse :). While it can be done hypothetically and probably done technically too. I think it's a rather long task to support most Clarisse features. Then there's also the lookdev aspect of the problem. What would you do? Create dummy materials/textures in Clarisse? Then replace them by meaningful ones for the 3rd party renderer?
